Staffer Spearheads Establishment of Amcham Hospitality Subcommittee

(2 September 2011) — Staffer.com, Poland’s leading/only provider of Web-Enabled Staffing Solutions, is pleased to announce the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland (AmCham) will launch an initative aimed at enhancing the business development and investment prospects of the Polish travel and tourism industry. The Hospitality & Leisure Sub-comittee will focus on improving service standards through the implementation of best-practice and on regulatory issues affecting industry participants. The Hospitality and Leisure Sub-committee will be run from the Krakow chapter of AmCham and be co-chaired by Pamela Gmiter, Staffer Operations Director and ? of the Sheraton Krakow hotel. The Hospitality & Leisure Sub-comittee will commence operation in the fourth quarter of 2011. Staffer.com Hospitality Operations Director, Pamela Gmiter, working with the AmCham Krakow staff, was instrumental in spearheading the initiative.

Staffer Training Solutions is rolling out a research based method for training and certification of hospitality and food and beverage professionals. The training system last for 3-12 months depending on the candidate. The 3 level system certifies service workers to the highest standards of service. This certification enables them to achieve higher wages and greater career prospects in the industry as well as work opportunities abroad.
All training programs are developed in cooperation with the worlds leading hotel groups.
Training programs focus on service skills, technical skills and competency development.

Dear Staffer Hospitality Clients,

I’d like to take this quieter time of the year to look back at the past year and address some of the big issues we are working on that will keep us occupied over the coming months when it will not be so quiet as now.

Staffer Hospitality Online
Since Launching the first version of the Staffer Online Tool we have developed it considerably to optimize the process around the needs of individual department managers.
The current version of Staffer Hospitality Online is very full featured and will allow us to automate the entire process from scheduling to payroll and reporting.

Training
In the last few months we have spent a lot of time focused on defining the ideal processes for recruitment, orientation, and training of hourly service workers.
The ongoing challenge of maintaining a qualified workforce in the face of seasonal, academic and economic variables is being met with the development of state of the art online and onsite service systems.
Training and development is an ongoing focus that will enable us to meet client requirements, as demand increases over the coming months.
To formalize our commitment to training we are developing a 3 tier training program that offers a certificate of completion and accomplishment and would be recognized by leading hotels as a valid credential for hiring and inclusion into the staffer worker database

Our next initiative is to work with each of you to develop relevant metrics that will enable us, together, to track and measure levels of your and your guests satisfaction.

ISO 9000
by end of the Summer Staffer will have completed ISO 9000 certification

We will continue to work on quality and training initiatives and will shortly be launching a website redesign.

Permanent and Project Based Placement

Starting in September we will offer high quality recruitment and permanent placement services for managers, supervisors and executive level personnel in the hospitality and food and beverage industry.
